Getting Started

Cost: First National Bank's e-Banking service is offered to cusomters free of charge.

The cost for Internet bill pay is a reasonable monthly fee for the first 20 transactions per month, with a per item fee after the first 20 payments each month.   Bill pay actually costs less than the stamps you use each month to send checks.

Sign Up and Set Up: Come in or fill out the online form here and let us know you're interested. We'll set up a time with one of our new accounts reppresentatives to set up your account.  You must, however, come in to the bank to complete the sign up process.

Browser Requirements: First National Bank's eBanking system uses the highest security available to protect your accounts and personal information. In order to make a secure connection to the eBanking site, the cipher strength in your browser must be 128-bit, which maintains the maximum security level. 

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer: Version 5.5 and above includes 128-bit encryption. To determine the version of Internet Explorer you're using, Click Help and choose About in your browser.

For security reasons, you should use the latest version of your favorite browser.

Logging In: Once you've received your user id and password and verified your browser software meets minimum requirements, log in to the eBanking system here. Enter your assigned used id and follow the instructions on the screen to log in.

Using the eBanking System

Viewing Balances: All accounts which are set up for eBanking are visible on the main page. To return to the Balances screen, click the Balance button at the top-left corner of the screen.

Snapshot History: To view a snapshot of each account, including current balance, interest rate and interest paid, along with transaction history for the previous week, click the account balance in the Balances screen.

Customizing Account Nicknames: The eBanking system allows you to customize the names of each account available in eBanking. Instead of "Regular Savings" you can change the name to reflect the purpose of the account, such as "Vacation Savings", or who the account belongs to. To customize the name of the account, click the Nicknames button in the Balances screen.

Viewing Transaction History: To view account history, click the History button, the second button from the left in the top row of buttons. Select the account you're interested in, enter the date range and click Submit.

Exporting Transaction History: Account history can be exported to Intuit Quicken, Intuit QuickBooks and Microsoft Money. To export account history, click the History button, the second button from the left in the top row of buttons and then choose Export History in the second row of buttons. Select the account you're interested in, enter the date range and choose the personal finance software you use. Click Submit to begin the download. Follow the instructions for your personal finance software to import transaction history.

Searching Transaction History: You can search account history for check numbers, amounts or transaction date. To perform a search, click the History button, and then click Search in the second row of buttons. Select the account you're interested in, enter the critieria you want to search for and click Submit.

Reconcile Accounts Online: Our eBanking system allows you to reconcile your account history online. Click the History button, and then click Reconcile in the second row of buttons. Select the account you want to reconcile and click Submit. Follow the instructions on the screen.

Posting: Transactions to and from your account, like automatic deposits, ATM withdrawls, or debit card usage are memo-posted* to eBanking every 15 minutes throughout the day, even on weekends. Transactions you perform throufh eBanking are memo-posted immediately. Memo-posted transactions are indicated with a red asterisk. Ledger balance through close of business each day is transferred nightly Tuesday through Saturday at 12:30 a.m.

*A memo-posted transaction is a transaction that has not yet posted, but is temporarily included in the current day's available balance until the nightly ledger update, at which time the transaction is processed and cleared.

Transfers: Transferring money between your accounts or paying loans by transferring funds from from one of your FNB accounts to your FNB loan account is quick, easy and secure.

Time Outs: For security reasons, if you are inactive for even a few minutes at a time (inactive that means you aren't clicking options or typing into fields in the ebanking web site) the e-banking program automatically logs you out of the site. You must log in to continue using the site.

FNB On-line Bill Paying Service
Not only can you look up account balances, view and download transaction history on-line, you can also pay your bills on-line -- to whomever or wherever they are and whenever they are due! Save stamps and time and late fee charges by scheduling automatic payments!   There is a small monthly charge for FNB's on-line bill paying service.

Bill Paying Messages: There are many messages you will receive regarding any transaction. Here are a few and what they mean. 

Payment Pending: This means you have properly submitted the payment, but it has still NOT been sent on to your payee.

Payment Made: The amount you specified has been removed from your account and has been sent to the designated payee.  This does NOT, however, mean they have received payment.
